Social Hour

Homeschool and online learners need time to simply be together. Social Hour is that time: an hour each week to craft, draw, talk, share and play, with students helping choose the plan. A Quantum Montessori Guide keeps every group kind, safe and welcoming.

  • Ongoing club
  • 1 live class a week
  • 1 hour
  • Grouped by age
  • $130 / month

What happens here

Your hour, your plan

There are no grades and no pressure. Students practice the skills that matter everywhere: conversation, patience, taking turns and making friends.

01

Make

Paper crafts, clay, friendship bracelets and simple projects with supplies from home.

02

Draw

Draw-alongs, doodle challenges and time to share sketchbooks.

03

Talk

News, pets, favorite books and games, or just easy conversation while hands stay busy.

04

Play

Quick group games like trivia, would-you-rather and scavenger hunts around the house.

05

Share

Show-and-share time where each student can present something they made or love.

A month in the club

Something different each week

Students vote on themes, and the Guide brings ideas to get things started.

    Craft week

A simple make-along with paper, string or clay.

  2. Week 2

    Draw week

A guided drawing and a sketchbook share.

  3. Week 3

    Game week

Trivia, scavenger hunts and word games.

  4. Week 4

    Show-and-share week

Students bring a hobby, pet, project or favorite thing to talk about.

Every class

What a class looks like

  1. 5 min

    Check-in

Hello, names and one good thing from the week.

  2. 5 min

    Pick the plan

Students choose from two or three options the Guide offers.

  3. 40 min

    Make, draw, talk or play

The main activity, with time to chat while we work.

  4. 10 min

    Show and share

Anyone who wants to share their work or news gets a turn.

Who it is for

A good fit if…

  • Students in grades K–12 who want time with friends
  • Homeschool and online learners
  • Students who like crafts, drawing, games or conversation
  • Quieter learners who prefer a relaxed group

Before class

What you need

  • A device with a camera and microphone
  • Paper, pencils and markers
  • Simple craft supplies when a craft week is announced
  • Cameras are welcome but optional

The Montessori way

Students help set the plan, choose their work and move at their own pace. The Guide prepares the space and the ideas, then steps back so friendships can form. Grace and courtesy are practiced in every conversation.
