Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to Quantum Montessori® programs, services, enrollment fees, Family Investments, subscriptions, classes, tutoring, enrichment, digital or physical resources, and other purchases unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Updated September 2026

01 / NO-REFUND POLICY

No-Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS TO QUANTUM MONTESSORI ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. QUANTUM MONTESSORI DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.

This no-refund policy applies whether services have begun or not and includes, without limitation, Administration/Enrollment Fees, Family Investment payments, tuition or program payments, deposits, subscriptions, classes, tutoring, enrichment, materials, resources, and other fees or purchases.

The only exception is where a refund is expressly required by applicable law. No employee, educator, contractor, representative, or other person may promise or authorize a refund contrary to this written policy.

02 / BINDING COMMITMENT

Enrollment Is a Binding Financial Commitment

For enrolled families, submission of the enrollment form and electronic signature of the Family Enrollment Agreement create a binding financial commitment. The obligation is not conditioned on the student attending the first day of class, beginning coursework, logging into Canvas, or otherwise using the services.

Monthly payment arrangements are offered for convenience. They do not create a month-to-month service and do not reduce or eliminate the Family Investment owed for an active enrollment commitment.

03 / PROGRAM COMMITMENT PERIODS

Program Commitment Periods

  • Independent Homeschool: initial three-month commitment, followed by successive three-month renewal terms unless timely withdrawn under the Family Enrollment Agreement.
  • Hybrid Homeschool, Part-Time or Full-Time: initial three-month commitment, followed by successive three-month renewal terms unless timely withdrawn under the Family Enrollment Agreement.
  • Full-Time Distance Learning: initial six-month commitment, followed by successive three-month renewal terms unless timely withdrawn under the Family Enrollment Agreement.
04 / CANCELLATION AND WITHDRAWAL

Cancellation and Withdrawal

A cancellation or withdrawal stops a future renewal only when the Home Guide follows the written withdrawal requirements and deadline in the Family Enrollment Agreement. It does not cancel, shorten, forgive, or refund an enrollment commitment that has already begun.

Withdrawal before the first day of class, failure to attend, non-use of services, relocation, schedule changes, dissatisfaction, a decision to pursue another educational option, voluntary non-participation, or early withdrawal does not create a right to a refund and does not release the Home Guide from amounts owed for the active enrollment commitment.

If timely withdrawal notice is not received, enrollment renews as provided in the Family Enrollment Agreement.

05 / ADMINISTRATION / ENROLLMENT FEES

Administration / Enrollment Fees

The Administration/Enrollment Fee is non-refundable. For enrolled students, the amount and timing of this fee are governed by the Family Enrollment Agreement and the applicable enrollment materials.

06 / ESA & FUNDING

ESA, Scholarships, Grants, Vouchers, and Third-Party Funding

Third-party funding is a payment source only. The Home Guide remains responsible for all amounts due regardless of the timing, approval, reimbursement, denial, reduction, exhaustion, or disbursement of ESA, scholarship, grant, voucher, or other third-party funds. A delay or denial by a third-party funding source does not create a right to a refund or cancel the family’s financial obligation.

07 / UNUSED SERVICES

Missed, Declined, or Unused Services

No refund is issued because a class, service, appointment, resource, program benefit, or other service was missed, declined, unused, partially used, or not fully utilized when it was made available in accordance with the applicable program or agreement.

08 / OVERPAYMENTS AND ACCOUNT CREDITS

Overpayments and Account Credits

Overpayments may be applied as a credit to the student’s account or handled as otherwise required by law. An account credit is not a cash refund and does not alter the no-refund policy.

09 / CONTROLLING ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

Controlling Enrollment Agreement

For enrolled families, the Family Enrollment Agreement controls the family’s enrollment term, withdrawal procedure, payment schedule, financial commitment, and other enrollment obligations. This policy is intended to be read consistently with that Agreement and does not create a separate right to cancel an active commitment.
